KES Books

Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026

This policy explains how Trade Desk and other KES Books apps (the "Software") handle information. KES Books is operated by Jordan Kesler, a sole proprietor in Manitoba, Canada.

Where your data lives

The Software stores your business data (customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, expenses and settings) on your own computer. It is not stored on KES Books servers, and we do not have access to it.

QuickBooks Online

If you choose to connect QuickBooks Online, the Software uses that connection, with your permission, to:

The sign-in tokens from Intuit (OAuth tokens) are stored locally on your computer. They are not sent to KES Books. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the Software's settings or from your Intuit account.

Email and text messages

If you set them up, the Software can send email or text messages through providers you configure yourself, such as Resend (email) or Twilio (SMS). Those messages go directly from your computer to that provider under your own account, and the provider's privacy policy applies.

What we don't do

Your rights

We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Because your data is kept on your own computer, you control it directly: you can view, correct, export or delete it at any time. If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its effective date will always be on this page.
